Job summary

Watts Water Technologies in Franklin, NH, is seeking an action-oriented Inventory/Materials Associate to ensure Just-In-Time delivery of parts to the production floor and maintain inventory accuracy. This on-site role uses PFEP, Kanban, and cycle-count procedures in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will perform production transactions, FIFO material handling, and support shipping/receiving as needed while upholding safety standards and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1+ years of experience in inventory control or process flow manufacturing environment
• Proficient in use of computer and data-based systems preferred
• Must be able to obtain a tow motor license and operate all tow motors within the plant
• Proficient in math skills and scale operations.
• Understanding of and adherence to applicable laws, codes, policies, regulations, and safety practices and procedures, as applicable.
• Must successfully establish employment eligibility and satisfactorily complete background checks, and required pre-employment testing as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of parts to the production floor: Kanban cards in designated areas.
• Perform and audit production transactions and cycle counts in designated areas.
• Maintain inventory accuracy of parts received from production and all materials warehouses.
• Use FIFO material handling.
• Assist with shipping/receiving as needed in the materials department.
• Support line work and cross-train as needed by the Production Supervisor.
