Qualifications

• Minimum one year of high-volume kitchen experience.
• Knowledge of cooking methods and food safety.
• Ability to follow recipes, menus and nutrition information.
• Strong reading comprehension and documentation skills.
• Ability to train and supervise kitchen volunteers.

Responsibilities

• Prep, cook, and prepare healthy meals daily per guidelines.
• Assist training, oversight, and coordination of kitchen volunteers.
• Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met.
• Identify appropriate inventory for meal production.
• Communicate and encourage volunteers while following guidelines.
• Maintain a positive, engaging disposition and teamwork.
• Assist Meal Production Manager with day-to-day operations in food production.
• Support management as needed.
