Job summary

Samsung Electronics America in Newberry, SC is seeking an Engineering Technician to support mechanical and electrical parts on the WA/WB lines, assist in new model development, and resolve issues on current hardware. You will verify quality, inspect parts with proper tools, and report findings to the team.

The role requires standing 8–10 hours daily, lifting up to 50 lbs, and English proficiency. Overtime may be available; experience with soldering, tools, and maintenance is valued.

Qualifications

• Soldering, power tools, maintenance, electrical measurement devices (mustimeter, etc), Excel (strongly preferred), Microsoft software (strongly preferred).
• Must be able to speak, read, and write English.
• Ability to stand for 8–10 hours a day.
• Overtime opportunities possible.
• Ability to bend, stoop, grip, reach and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily tasks to verify and follow-up on quality standards & rules.
• Part Inspection by using proper tools.
• Report all findings to the team members.
• Support Repair Deck.
• Support Washing Machine Rework.
• Support Washing Machine SET and Material Shipment.
• Support Engineering Team members in their works (Part Approval, CR Registration, and machine maintenance).
• All other duties as assigned.
