Job summary

Samsung Electronics America is seeking a Materials Management Supervisor to support both mechanical and electrical parts on critical production lines in Newberry, South Carolina. The role ensures equipment and parts meet specifications, supports new model development, and helps resolve issues on current products.

Responsibilities include daily quality verification, part inspections, reporting findings, and assisting engineering and repair activities.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED is required.
Knowledge: Reporting, computer skills, problem solving.
Skills: Soldering, power tools, maintenance, electrical metric devices, Excel and Microsoft software are strongly preferred.
Must be able to speak, read, and write English.
The ability to stand up for 8-10 hours a day is required.
Overtime opportunities possible.
The ability to bend, stoop, grip, reach and lift up to 50 lbs. on a repetitive basis.
The ability to pass a drug test and background check.
Must be age 18 or older.
Must be eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

Perform daily tasks to verify and follow-up on quality standards & rules.
Part Inspection by using proper tools.
Report all findings to the team members.
Support Repair Deck.
Support Washing Machine Rework.
Support Washing Machine SET and Material Shipment.
Support Engineering Team members in their works (Part Approval, CR Registration, and machine maintenance).
All other duties as assigned.
