Colonial Electric Company in King of Prussia, PA seeks a Process Auditor & Trainer to strengthen operational consistency, accuracy, compliance, and employee capability across operations. This role independently evaluates branch, warehouse, inventory, and delivery processes; identifies control gaps and improvement opportunities; and translates findings into practical training and sustainable standard work.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of experience in internal auditing, operational compliance, or related fields.
• Working knowledge of inventory control, warehousing, delivery, and branch operations.
• Ability to gather evidence, test controls, analyze data, and write findings.
• Experience delivering adult learning for diverse employees.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and ERP/BI tools.
• Strong written, verbal, presentation, and organizational skills.
• Ability to travel as needed and work in office, warehouse, and branch environments.

Responsibilities

• Plan and perform risk-based process audits with schedules and checks.
• Review policies, transactions, records, and system activity for compliance.
• Observe workflows and interview employees to assess procedures.
• Test adherence to approved procedures and internal controls.
• Evaluate distribution processes: receiving, put-away, inventory, picking, packing, shipping, returns.
• Document findings with objective papers and clear recommendations.
• Develop action plans with owners and due dates; verify completion.
• Deliver onboarding and refresher training using various formats.
• Maintain current procedures, checklists, and training materials.
• Measure learning effectiveness and adjust training as needed.
• Analyze data and trends to identify exceptions and improvements.
• Participate in root-cause analysis and continuous improvement.
• Protect sensitive information according to policy.
