Freeport-McMoRan is seeking a maintenance-focused professional to monitor site equipment, analyze data, and support on-site training at our Phoenix Collaboration Hub. The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and collaboration with maintenance teams to optimize equipment availability.

Qualified candidates will have 3+ years in mechanical fields, strong understanding of mechanical principles, and proficiency with Windows applications.

Qualifications

• Three (3) or more years of experience working in a mechanical field.
• Working knowledge and understanding of basic mechanical principles (hydraulic, pneumatic, fluid mechanical systems).
• Interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficient computer skills in a Windows environment (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint).
• Must demonstrate ability to apply knowledge and pass required written assessments (safety-focused).

Responsibilities

• Monitor site equipment using real-time tech to improve availability and lower maintenance costs.
• Assist in operator education and development of advanced diagnostic tools.
• Collect and analyze data using predictive technologies and make maintenance recommendations.
• Complete and submit work orders as necessary; on-site training support.
• Perform other duties as required.
