Job summary

Freeport-McMoRan is seeking an analytics-focused engineer to analyze equipment health across sites using predictive monitoring. You will partner with Maintenance, Planning, Operations, and site leadership to review trends and provide data-driven recommendations that improve safety, productivity, and reliability.

The role requires hands-on data analysis, dashboard tooling, and collaboration across multiple disciplines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 1 year of related experience or a High School Diploma/GED with 5 years of related experience.
• Ability to analyze equipment or operational data, identify trends or risks, and make practical recommendations.
• Experience with monitoring tools, dashboards, or data visualization for operations.

Responsibilities

• Analyze equipment health and performance data using predictive monitoring to identify reliability issues.
• Partner with site stakeholders to influence operational and maintenance decisions.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret real-time data to evaluate maintenance opportunities and risks.
• Develop actionable recommendations for maintenance and operations teams.
• Support development and sustainment of RAMP digital tools, dashboards, and workflows.
• Assist with validation and testing of remote asset monitoring technologies.
• Support continuous improvement and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
