Job summary

Freeport-McMoRan Inc. in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a reliability engineer to monitor remote asset performance, evaluate equipment reliability, and develop data-driven recommendations to improve availability and efficiency.

You will partner with Maintenance, Planning, Operations, and Reliability teams across sites, applying predictive monitoring and advanced analytics to influence decisions and drive improvements. Travel up to 75% and a shift-balanced schedule may be required.

Qualifications

Experience analyzing equipment or operational data and communicating recommendations to stakeholders.
Ability to prioritize work, manage multiple tasks, and exercise sound judgment with limited supervision.
Knowledge of mechanical/electrical fundamentals and reliability concepts.

Responsibilities

Utilize remote asset monitoring technologies and diagnostics to evaluate performance trends and identify maintenance opportunities.
Serve as liaison between IROC and site Maintenance, Planning, Operations, and Reliability teams to influence decisions.
Support design, testing, and sustainment of digital tools, dashboards, and monitoring solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate new solutions and ensure measurable value.
Champion continuous improvement of monitoring processes and documentation practices.
Perform other duties to support departmental objectives and priorities.
