Onward Search is partnering with a prominent watchmaking client in New York to recruit a Workshop Technician for an on-site role. The position focuses on assembly, troubleshooting, and stringent quality control in a luxury watch environment.

You will handle tools preparation, timing calibration, disassembly/reassembly, and documentation per SOPs, ensuring movements are inspected and casings sealed to exact standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Experience in watch servicing and assembly preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with computer systems and inventory management.
• Knowledge of Rolex or Tudor watch service standards is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and prepare tools, equipment, and measuring devices for watch repairs and assembly.
• Diagnose timing issues and calibrate movements using specialized timing equipment.
• Disassemble, clean, and reassemble watch components adhering to quality standards.
• Document parts usage and repair activities in the system following SOPs.
• Inspect finished movements and verify proper functioning before casing.
