Job summary

SQA Services in Salt Lake City, UT, seeks a Mechanical Inspector to support source inspections at multiple supplier sites. The role is on-site, 5 days a week, 4–8 hours per day, for a 3–6 month contract.

You will conduct visual, physical, and dimensional inspections, review FAI documentation, and ensure parts meet GD&T and drawing requirements. Candidates should have GD&T ASME Y-14.5 certification and 5 years in manufacturing with at least 2 years as an inspector.

Qualifications

• Experience as Quality Inspector or CMM Operator with industry knowledge.
• Ability to interpret complex GD&T requirements and validate assemblies.
• 5 years in manufacturing with at least 2 years as an Inspector.

Responsibilities

• Conduct visual, physical, and dimensional inspections per specs.
• Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of parts.
• Prepare inspection sign-off sheets and packages; review FAI docs.
• Verify equipment capability and alignment with drawing intent.
• Document non-conformances and submit reports for disposition.
