Job summary

Progressive Machine & Design (PMD) – GPS Division in Victor, NY is hiring a Contract Manufacturing Order Specialist. This on-site role oversees orders from quote to final delivery, coordinating with manufacturing, quality, and production teams to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and exceptional customer service.

Ideal candidates have 5–7+ years of experience in precision manufacturing or aerospace supply chains, with AS9100/ISO 9001 familiarity, ITAR/CUI exposure, and strong ERP skills.

Qualifications

• 5 to 7+ years of customer service or contract management experience in precision manufacturing, CUI, or aerospace supply chain environments.
• Familiarity with AS9100 and ISO 9001 quality management systems and documentation chains; ITAR, CUI and CMMC experience preferred.
• Ability to interpret manufacturing and quality job traveler documents, revisions, and ISO 9001/AS9100 contracts.
• Advanced proficiency with Manufacturing ERP software and customer supply chain techniques.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary point of contact for customers, managing orders from quote through delivery with timely updates.
• Review RFQs with manufacturing and quality teams to establish pricing and lead times; verify specs and revisions.
• Enter and maintain orders, schedules, and manufacturing instructions in ERP; ensure documentation and traceability.
• Support ISO 9001:2015 and AS9100 compliance; monitor delivery performance and quality scorecards; assist with RMAs and corrective actions.
