Progressive Machine & Design (PMD) in Victor, NY, is seeking an Internal Fabrication Supervisor to lead our internal fabrication operations, including Toolroom, Waterjet, EDM, Boring Mill, Cut‑Off, and Paint.

You will develop talent, coordinate production priorities, and ensure quality while collaborating with engineering, project management, and other departments to keep projects on schedule.

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical documentation.
• Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, mentor, and develop Internal Fabrication employees across multiple disciplines.
• Coordinate daily production activities across Toolroom, EDM, Boring Mill, Waterjet, Cut‑Off, and Paint areas.
• Review upcoming work and determine which components should be manufactured internally versus outsourced.
• Monitor production schedules and identify potential delays or capacity issues before they impact timelines.
• Establish and adjust production priorities based on project requirements and department capacity.
• Provide regular production updates to Project Management and cross‑functional teams.
