Job summary

Qualifications

• 1-2 years supervisory experience, prefer live production.
• Bachelor of Science in Poultry Science or related field preferred.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Leadership/supervisor skills with independence and fair evaluation.
• Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends/holidays.
• Good computer skills; ability to create and analyze data.
• Interface effectively with all support groups and upper management.
• Independent work capability and strong time management.
• Valid DMV driving record.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Oversee fryer performance, quality, and production; manage bird health with available facilities and safety programs.
• Implement and control field compliance with grow-out, disease prevention, safety and quality programs.
• Coordinate all ranch functions and ensure accurate completion.
• Coordinate labor needs and scheduling accordingly.
• Complete wage records and personnel evaluations for subordinates.
• Employee development and training; ensure policy adherence.
• Administer disciplinary actions and assist with hiring/firing as needed.
