Job summary

Foster Farms is hiring a Ranch Grow-Out Supervisor to oversee fryer operations and the grow-out process. You will support the Ranch Manager in setting up ranch facilities, managing temperatures, ventilation and health protocols for Chickens, while ensuring sanitation and safety standards are met.

You will also help control costs, keep detailed records, and train staff. This role requires leadership, physical capability to lift 50 pounds, and willingness to work overtime, evenings, holidays, and

• Completed the Chicken Grow Out Training Program.
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently.
• Supervisory and leadership skills.
• Strong mathematical and organizational abilities.
• Clear written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Assist Ranch Manager to oversee all ranch activities and fryer operations.
• Direct grow out of fryers via ranch setup, brooding, temperatures, ventilation, mortality, vaccinations, meds to meet quality goals.
• Maintain ranch facilities and coordinate with maintenance for materials and service calls.
• Enforce strict sanitation and monitor bird health; report anomalies.
• Respond to emergencies affecting chickens day or night.
• Help manage labor, fuel, supplies, utilities, meds, and maintenance costs.
• Maintain accurate records for feed, mortality, production, and energy use.
• Train and delegate duties to ranch staff; enforce safety and animal welfare guidelines.
• Coordinate with feed mill dispatchers, drivers, and other ranches as needed.
