Job summary

Tundra Technical Solutions is seeking a POS Test Analyst / QA Professional for a on-site Atlanta contract role. You will perform manual testing of POS applications, validate end-to-end transaction flows, and analyze POS logs as part of modernization and migration efforts.

The role requires strong testing, business analysis, and stakeholder engagement skills, with experience in Agile/SCRUM environments and hands-on Jira/Confluence usage. On-site deployment and go-live support are expected.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience working with Point of Sale (POS) systems.
• Strong experience in Manual Testing and System Integration Testing (SIT).
• Proven ability to validate complex user journeys and transaction flows.
• Experience analyzing POS server logs and transaction XML messages.
• Good understanding of SQL for data validation, troubleshooting, and testing activities.
• Familiarity with payment processing systems, payment gateways, and retail transaction workflows.
• Experience supporting POS modernization or legacy-to-new platform migrations.
• Strong business analysis skills with experience in requirements elicitation and documentation.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Experience with POS and Digital channel Go-Live testing, deployment validation, and release management.
• Hands-on experience with JIRA, Zephyr, and Confluence.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual testing of POS applications and related digital platforms.
• Design, execute, and validate end-to-end user flows and business-critical transaction scenarios.
• Analyze and troubleshoot POS transaction issues by reviewing server logs and transaction XMLs.
• Participate in requirements gathering, clarification sessions, and business process analysis.
• Support legacy-to-new system migration and transition programs, ensuring seamless business continuity.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to define test strategies, test cases, and acceptance criteria.
• Coordinate with stakeholders across business, product, and technology teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Support Go-Live activities, including deployment validation, production testing, release readiness, and post-production verification.
• Contribute to release management processes and production support activities.
• Document test results, defects, requirements, and project updates using standard project management and collaboration tools.
