Van Winkle & Company, Inc. in Atlanta, GA is seeking an experienced Project Manager—Commercial Construction to lead and support the execution of commercial and industrial projects across the Southeast.

This on-site position manages documentation, schedules, costs, procurement, and coordination with senior teams. The ideal candidate has strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset to deliver projects from groundbreaking through closeout.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in commercial construction project management preferred.
• Strong understanding of construction processes from pre-construction through closeout.
• Willingness to travel within the Southeast region.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Senior Project Manager and/or Project Executive in all aspects of project execution.
• Support the Superintendent with coordination and day-to-day project needs.
• Maintain document control for all project records and correspondence.
• Manage and oversee technology platforms and project management software.
• Assist with schedule development, buyout, and pre-construction planning.
• Support procurement and inventory management of materials and services.
• Generate, process, and maintain project logs including RFIs, submittals, photos, and reports.
• Prepare, process, and distribute RFIs and Submittals.
• Assist with project cost management, including budget tracking and reporting.
• Support change management processes, including documentation and tracking.
• Coordinate material deliveries and verify timing, quantities, and delivery methods.
• Generate, distribute, and archive meeting agendas and minutes.
• Assist with subcontractor meetings, OAC meetings, and pre-installation meetings.
• Support quality control and quality management throughout construction.
• Manage and execute punch-out and project closeout activities.
