Job summary

Blentech Corporation is seeking an Industrial Automation Technician to join our Santa Rosa team. You will install, test, and refine control panels for sophisticated food processing systems, collaborating with Controls and Software Engineers to ensure reliable operation and on-time shipment.

The role blends design tasks with hands-on shop floor implementation. The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of PLC programming experience (Rockwell), reads schematics, and is comfortable working with Ignition and

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of PLC programming experience.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and P&IDs.
• Experience with Rockwell/AB controls preferred.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose system issues and modify PLC code as needed.
• Install and maintain control components (VFDs, relays, sensors).
• Support HMI/SCADA interfaces (Ignition, PanelView).
• Document as-designed and as-built configurations.
• Collaborate with assembly to ensure on-time shipment.
