Job summary
Blentech Corporation in Santa Rosa, CA is seeking a mid-level Control & Instrument Engineer II to design, configure, program, and maintain advanced instrumentation for our industrial food processing equipment. You will work closely with mechanical and process engineers to tailor turnkey automation solutions and ensure system safety.
Responsibilities include programming PLCs/HMIs, calibrating sensors, analyzing performance data, and leading FAT and commissioning efforts to achieve precise process
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Automation or closely related STEM field.
- 3–5 years of engineering experience with industrial control systems and instrumentation.
- Strong problem solving, communication and on-floor collaboration skills.
Responsibilities
- Design, configure, program and maintain control systems and instrumentation layouts for custom machinery.
- Program PLCs, HMIs, and supervisory software for automation.
- Calibrate and integrate instruments to monitor temperature, pressure, flow, speed and weight.
- Collaborate with mechanical/process engineers to deliver turnkey solutions.
- Lead troubleshooting during FAT and commissioning and ensure safety compliance.
