Job summary

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience operating and maintaining stationary equipment in a central utility plant setting or equivalent.
• Ability to present information clearly to supervisors, colleagues, and customers.
• Strong organizational skills including reporting, Email, and Microsoft Office.
• Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent; valid driver's license and ability to operate a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Maintain & monitor safe working conditions; identifies, corrects, and reports unsafe work areas, enforces safety compliance.
• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance and minor repair on plant equipment as assigned.
• Operate assigned plants as a Stationary Engineer in compliance with published Company operating and safety policies/procedures.
• Ensure water quality at assigned plants by executing prescribed water management procedures and maintaining proper plant chemistry.
• Maintain complete maintenance records and reports. Write and follow-up on work orders for identification and repair of plant equipment and air handling units.
• Act as sole Constellation representative onsite at customer's facility. Maintain customer relationships with all customers served by assigned plants.
• Monitor assigned plant operations through various controls systems/technologies.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule depending on facility event schedule as determined by Plant Manager.
