Job summary

Jobot is seeking a hands-on Plant Maintenance Manager in Conway, SC to lead maintenance, reliability, process controls, and capital projects at a large manufacturing facility. This full-time, on-site role requires 5+ years of maintenance leadership experience and a track record of improving equipment uptime and safety.

You will manage maintenance planning, supervise engineers and technicians, and partner with Operations and IT on automation and data reporting.

Qualifications

5+ years of manufacturing maintenance leadership experience.
Experience leading maintenance and engineering teams in a manufacturing environment.
Strong PLC programming experience, including Allen-Bradley and GE/Fanuc platforms.
HMI programming experience using platforms such as Wonderware and Rockwell FactoryTalk.
Strong knowledge of industrial controls, instrumentation, motors, drives, and electrical systems.
Experience with process automation and troubleshooting manufacturing equipment.
Familiarity with Oracle databases or other enterprise manufacturing systems is a plus.
Ability to read and interpret P&IDs and electrical drawings.
Excellent leadership, planning, communication, and organizational skills.
Hands-on management style with the ability to support plant operations as needed.
Availability to respond to critical plant issues outside normal business hours when necessary.

Responsibilities

Lead the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of all plant equipment and utility systems.
Develop and execute preventive, predictive, and reliability-centered maintenance programs.
Improve equipment uptime and overall plant reliability through continuous improvement initiatives.
Manage maintenance planning, scheduling, and spare parts inventory.
Lead and develop maintenance and engineering personnel while promoting a strong safety culture.
Manage departmental budgets and maintenance-related KPIs.
Partner with Operations and Engineering to implement capital projects and equipment upgrades.
Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
Maintain maintenance documentation, equipment records, and CMMS data integrity.
Provide technical leadership for plant automation and process control systems.
Troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, instrumentation, motors, drives, and related control systems.
Develop automation improvements and maintenance troubleshooting tools.
