You will identify patients, document results, and maintain patient privacy. Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED, Phlebotomy Certification, three years of phlebotomy experience, and an active BLS card.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy Certification.
• Three years of recent Phlebotomy experience.
• Active BLS Card (AHA).
• Fluent English (read, write, speak).
• Authorized to work in the U.S. indefinitely without sponsorship.
• Ability to obtain public trust.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient phlebotomy across inpatient, outpatient, ED, and ward rounds.
• Process samples and prepare them for send-out.
• Identify patients prior to collection and ensure proper labeling.
• Protect electronic and paper patient information.
• Identify, document, and resolve collection or testing issues.
• Provide professional, patient-centered care to avoid complaints.
• Other duties as assigned.
