Job summary

Accredo Specialty Pharmacy, a division of Evernorth Health Services and The Cigna Group, is hiring a pharmacy technician associate representative for on-site work in Corona, CA. You will process prescriptions, verify quantities, and prepare shipments in a fast-paced setting.

Requirements include CA pharmacy technician license, 1+ year experience, strong math/computer skills, and excellent communication and attention to detail. Schedule is Mon–Fri, 9a–6p with benefits from day one.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of relevant experience in a pharmacy setting.
• Strong math and computer skills (MS Office).

• Willingness to work a flexible schedule to handle peak volumes.

Responsibilities

THIS POSITION WILL BE ON-SITE AT THE ACCREDO LOCATION IN CORONA, CA

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9a - 6p.

What you’ll do:

• Process new and refill prescription requests
• Select and retrieve appropriate medications
• Verify quantities and prepare accurate labels
• Send orders to pharmacy staff for completion and verification of prescription-based programs
• Prepare packages for shipment
• Clean equipment and refill workstation supplies
• Learn new internal systems and processes
• Perform other tasks as needed in a fast-paced, pharmacy production setting

Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED
• Pharmacy technician license in the state of California.
• 1+ year of relevant experience
• Basic math and computer skills (i.e. Microsoft Office)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and quality
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule to accommodate peak volume times

Physical Requirements:

• Sit and/or stand for lengthy periods.
• Lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally and 20 lbs. frequently
• Perform repetitive motion with fingers, hands, and arms.
• Work may be in confined areas close to machinery.
• Work may be performed in an environment with varying levels of noise.

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an hourly rate of 18 - 27 USD / hourly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
