Job summary

Arcetyp LLC is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support US Government and military health programs. The role is on-site in Iwakuni, Japan, performing referrals management, data entry, and coordination with physicians under DHA/TRICARE guidelines.

Must hold a PTCB certification, maintain state licensure, and comply with DoD training. Strong communication and Microsoft Office skills are essential for generating utilization reports and ensuring accurate referrals.

Qualifications

• PTCB certification and current licensure in good standing with state board.
• English fluency and strong communication with patients and health care staff.
• Ability to pass all background/suitability checks and travel locally as needed.
• Proficient with EHR/DEERS and other health system software.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and refining referral management to support medical management initiatives at the MTF.
• Input and retrieve patient information for referrals using EHR, DEERS, and related systems.
• Refer to physician advisor for clinical review when agreement cannot be reached within one business day.
• Elevate referrals for higher level review when medical necessity and covered benefits are unclear.
• Submit monthly, quarterly, and yearly utilization reports and discuss patterns with leadership.
• Adhere to DHA, BUMED, TRICARE guidelines and ICD/DRG coding for referrals.
