Job summary

Ascension St. Vincent Kokomo is seeking a part-time Pharmacy Technician to join the Pharmacy department. This on-site role supports refills, inventory, sterile and non-sterile compounding, and coordinating with patients and health professionals.

You will triage calls, prepare orders, receive supplies, and help maintain automated dispensing systems. Minimum qualifications include a High School diploma equivalency or 1 year of related experience, with preferred licensure or pharmacy tech

Qualifications

• High School diploma equivalency or 1 year of applicable cumulative job-specific experience required.
• Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
• Preferred Credential(s): Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the National Healthcareer Association.
• Preferred Credential(s): Licensed Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB).

Responsibilities

• Refills and maintains automated dispensing systems.
• Prepares orders and maintains inventory for the Pharmacy department.
• Prepares sterile and non-sterile compounds.
• Receives and stores incoming supplies.
• Triages incoming calls and serves as a liaison between pharmacy, patient and health professionals by providing information.
