Job summary

Indiana University Health's Centralized Compounding team seeks a quality-minded Pharmacy Technician. Responsibilities include hands-on compounding support across inpatient and outpatient settings, with the opportunity to learn various skills in a closed-door pharmacy department.

Candidate must have a High School Diploma/GED, Indiana tech training or license (or intern/extern status), and a national certification within one year. Strong math and customer service skills are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Indiana Pharmacy Technician training or licensure is required or enrollment as an intern/extern if in college of pharmacy.
• Pharmacy Technician National Certification within one year of hire unless enrolled in a college of pharmacy program.
• No criminal history related to working with drugs.
• Strong mathematical calculation skills.
• Ability to learn pharmacy tech skills under supervision and to communicate effectively in writing.
• Ability to learn and perform customer service duties and to type with basic MS Office proficiency.
