Job summary

LUX Infusion is seeking a licensed pharmacist to provide clinical oversight during on-site coverage, supervise technicians, review prescriptions, and ensure compliant, cost-effective therapy. You will perform patient assessments and maintain regulatory compliance while supporting a clinician-led infusion care culture.

This per diem role in Bartlett, TN offers 24–35 hours weekly, Monday–Friday, with competitive pay and collaborative team support.

Qualifications

• BS or PharmD from ACPE-accredited school.
• Current, unrestricted pharmacist license in the state of employment.
• Experience providing high-quality customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and pharmacy technology systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical oversight of pharmacy operations when serving as pharmacist on duty.
• Supervise and support pharmacy technicians to ensure safe, effective, and compliant workflows.
• Review and verify prescription orders, confirming appropriate medication selection, dosing, and patient education materials.
• Deliver evidence-based, cost-effective medication therapy in accordance with FDA requirements, manufacturer guidelines, and internal policies.
• Conduct initial patient assessments, disease-specific consultations, and refill assessments as required.
• Maintain compliance with applicable State Board of Pharmacy regulations and accreditation standards (URAC, ACHC, The Joint Commission).
• Participate in quality assurance activities and audits as requested.
• Respond effectively to operational needs, interruptions, and priority changes during coverage periods.
