Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Roy, UT is seeking a PC Network Support Technician 2/3 to support information system lifecycle activities on-site full-time at our Roy, UT location.

The role requires handling desktop hardware/software, assisting with security paperwork, and collaborating with Security to resolve classified data issues. This position emphasizes on-site work with minimal telework until security requirements are met.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree with 0 years of relevant experience or high school diploma with 2 years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree with 0 years of relevant experience, or 2–4 years with an associate’s degree where applicable.
• Knowledge of Windows Desktop OS, Office suites, and remote deployment methods.
• Ability to obtain/maintain a U.S. Government Secret clearance within time.
• Ability to obtain/maintain access to Special Access Programs as required.

Responsibilities

• Exhibits good communication skills and patience with customers.
• Creates and manages tickets for all support incidents and tracks progress.
• Performs relocation of workstations and related equipment between campus buildings.
• Provides basic diagnostics, identifies and analyzes problems using records.
• Resolves technical problems and answers queries by telephone for internal or external users.
• Uses Active Directory to create/unlock user accounts and perform password resets.
• Maintains inventory records in asset tracking system for hardware assets.
• Spends significant time away from desk to support users and move equipment.
