Job summary

Eskola, LLC in Knoxville, TN is seeking a Payroll Specialist to join our team for weekly payroll processing across our branches. This on-site role reports to the Payroll Manager and handles timecards, earnings audits, tax processing, and year-end tasks.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of payroll processing experience, strong attention to detail, and knowledge of payroll taxes, with the ability to meet weekly deadlines in an on-site office. Eskola offers comprehensive benefits and PTO.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on payroll processing experience.
• Experience with hourly and salaried employees payroll.
• Knowledge of payroll taxes and year-end reporting.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Payroll Manager with weekly processing of payroll for hourly and salaried employees
• Review and process timecards, and audit earnings and deductions for accuracy
• Assist with processing of state payroll taxes
• Assist with year-end reporting and W-2 processing tasks
• Assist with Certified Payroll processing and reports for applicable projects
• Perform accurate, timely data entry of deduction updates
• Provide excellent customer service to all internal customers regarding payroll-related questions
