Job summary

SSM Health is seeking a PRN on-site Scheduler for the Arnold Urgent Care location. Responsible for communicating with patients, collecting demographic, insurance and clinical information, and scheduling prescribed procedures efficiently.

• Assist with pre-service requirements and instructions for procedures.
• Perform clerical duties associated with patient registration.

Responsibilities

• Gathers information from patient and enters into appropriate database.
• Schedules patient procedures and coordinates schedules to optimize time and resources.
• Coordinates insurance pre-certification/authorization activities.
• Provides counseling to patients regarding pre-service requirements and instructions.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
