Job summary

Ensemble Health Partners is seeking an on-site Patient Access Specialist at Jupiter Medical Center in Jupiter, FL. You will perform admitting duties, assign MRNs, verify eligibility, collect demographics, and process physician orders with a focus on accurate, courteous service.

You will pre-register patient accounts, explain consent forms, and support POS collections while upholding corporate policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of customer service experience.
• Inquisitive and open to innovation including AI to improve processes.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CRCR certification required within 9 months of hire (company paid).

Responsibilities

• Register patients and assign MRNs; verify eligibility and collect demographics.
• Process physician orders and support POS with accurate data and good customer service.
• Operate the telephone switchboard and handle inter-office calls.
• Pre-register patient accounts and collect insurance information and co-pays.
• Explain consent forms and distribute patient education materials.
• Review insurance eligibility in verification system and select correct plan codes.
