Qualifications

• Associate's degree in healthcare or business administration is required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Patient Access in a business office setting.
• Experience with insurance eligibility systems.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and medical billing codes.
• 1 year knowledge of Epic Applications.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients during on-site registration and arrival for scheduled and unscheduled visits.
• Collect accurate demographic information, insurance information, and patient liability at the time of service.
• Perform financial clearance functions on assigned scheduled accounts.
• Support PAS supervisor/manager in line with policies and procedures.
