Job summary

Mel Trotter Ministries is seeking a part-time on-site Marketing and Communications Coordinator in Grand Rapids. The role supports the Marketing Manager to keep projects moving, with hours completed on site Monday–Friday between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM.

The position involves project, production, vendor and administrative support to enable campaigns and daily requests to be delivered accurately and on schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred
• 1–2 years in admin, coordination, marketing/communications, or related work
• Strong organization, follow-through and attention to detail
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and SharePoint; ClickUp preferred
• Basic flyer/internal material updates; Canva preferred

Responsibilities

• Track project workflows, timelines, assets and approvals
• Support internal communications and marketing resources
• Handle routine ordering, fulfillment, and inventory of recurring materials
• Assist with donor receipting, mailings and confidential donor information
• Coordinate with printers, vendors and internal partners
