Job summary

Trakstar, a skincare company based in Concord, CA, seeks an Operations Manager to join on-site and work directly with the founder. You will coordinate product launches, marketing execution, and day-to-day operations while supporting vendors, creative partners, accounts, and customers.

This hands-on role requires you to turn rough briefs into actionable plans, manage multiple projects, and thrive in a fast-moving startup environment with a strong bias for getting things done.

Qualifications

• At least three years’ experience in operations, project management, marketing operations, brand management, or a similar cross-functional role in a start-up environment.
• Demonstrable project management skills. Exceptionally organized, dependable, resourceful, and proactive with the natural ability to follow up and close loops.
• Proven track record managing multiple projects, partners, and deadlines without losing track of details. Can prioritize effectively without constant direction.
• Intermediate to advanced competency with Google Workspace Suite and/or spreadsheets.
• Intermediate to advanced competency with AI tools such as ChatGPT or Claude; able to use AI for writing, research, organization, etc.
• Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Asana, AirTable, MS Project).
• Familiarity with social media management platforms (e.g., Buffer, Hootsuite, Sprout Social).
• Familiarity with omni-channel marketing tools (e.g., Klaviyo, OmniSend, ActiveCampaign).
• Strong written communication skills.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to create systems that make work easier.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate product launches, marketing execution, and day-to-day operations.
• Oversee social media management and provide support to vendors, creative partners, professional accounts, and customers.
• Turn rough notes and briefs into actionable plans and drive projects to completion without constant direction.
• Work closely with founder in a fast-moving startup environment.
