Job summary

TA Resources seeks a Sr. Manager of Operations to lead all manufacturing activities in a fast-paced contract manufacturing environment focused on cosmetics and personal care products.

You will drive bottleneck elimination, waste reduction, and overall efficiency across blending, filling, packaging, and warehousing. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field required.
• 7+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership.
• 5+ years in a senior operations leadership role within CM, cosmetics, personal care, or CPG.
• Experience managing compounding, filling, and packaging operations.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee daily operations across blending, filling, packaging, warehousing, and inventory.
• Develop and execute operational strategies that support growth, customer satisfaction, and profitability.
• Establish and monitor KPIs related to safety, quality, and production.
• Ensure GMP, FDA, ISO standards, and internal quality systems compliance.
• Collaborate with Quality to investigate deviations and implement corrective actions.
• Support customer audits, regulatory inspections, and certifications.
• Manage production capacity planning and identify opportunities for expansion.
• Monitor production performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Partner with Maintenance to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
• Lead, mentor, and develop managers and production personnel.

Position Summary

In this exciting opportunity the Sr. Manager of Operations will be responsible for leading all manufacturing operations within a fast-paced contract manufacturing environment specializing in the compounding, filling, and packaging of beauty and personal care products. This role is expected to analyze current business practices to find bottlenecks, eliminate waste and boost overall efficiency.

The Sr. Manager of Operations will work closely with closely with Senior Leadership, Sales, Project Management, Research & Development, Quality, Supply Chain, and Customer Service teams to successfully execute customer programs while meeting safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives

Key Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee daily operations across blending and filling, packaging, warehousing, and inventory.
• Develop and execute operational strategies that support company growth, customer satisfaction, and profitability objectives.
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to safety, quality, and production
• Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), FDA regulations, ISO standards, customer requirements, and internal quality systems.
• Collaborate with the Quality team to investigate deviations, non-conformances, customer complaints, and corrective actions.
• Support customer audits, regulatory inspections, and certification activities.
• Ensure efficient utilization of labor, equipment, materials, and facility resources.
• Manage production capacity planning and identify opportunities for expansion and optimization.
• Monitor production performance and implement corrective actions to address operational challenges and continuous improvement
• Partner with Maintenance to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime
• Lead, mentor, and develop managers, supervisors, and production personnel.
• Foster a culture of accountability, engagement, safety, and continuous improvement.
• Establish performance expectations and conduct regular performance evaluations.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in operations management, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Manufacturing, or related field required.
• 7 plus years of progressive manufacturing leadership.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment.
• 5+ years in a senior operations leadership role within contract manufacturing, cosmetics, beauty, personal care, pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, or consumer packaged goods industries.
• Experience managing compounding, filling, and packaging operations preferred.
• Proven success leading high-volume, fast-paced manufacturing environments.
• Experience with GMP-regulated production environments required
