Job summary

Nox Metals is a technology-driven metals supplier, serving aerospace and defense manufacturers with aluminum plate, bar, and rounds. The Assistant General Manager will drive disciplined daily execution across manufacturing, shipping, supply chain, sales, and people operations, on a hands-on, data-informed basis.

The role reports to the General Manager and requires a willingness to be on the floor, collaborating with multiple functions and ensuring safety, quality, and reliability for customers.

Qualifications

• Hands-on operator with comfort on the factory floor and in data analysis.
• Ability to translate company goals into actionable priorities and owners.
• Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or operations roles preferred.

Responsibilities

• Run daily operating rhythm across production, shipping, quality, and commitments.
• Translate goals into clear priorities, owners, and deadlines.
• Track safety, throughput, on-time delivery, quality, labor, and inventory accuracy.
• Identify constraints early and coordinate teams to resolve them.
• Build standard work, scorecards, and processes that scale.
• Coach managers and frontline leaders while maintaining accountability.
• Support hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and performance management.
• Resolve urgent customer, supplier, and operational issues.
