Job summary

Nox Metals seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to make our metalworking facilities safer, faster, and more repeatable. You will improve systems turning aluminum into precise, on-time customer shipments, covering equipment, tooling, layouts, work instructions, data collection, and operator workflows.

You will work hands-on on the factory floor, design tooling and workstations, analyze data, and partner across maintenance, quality, software, and leadership to deliver measurable improvements.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing engineering role focused on safer, faster, more repeatable factories.
• Experience applying lean methods and SPC is a plus.
• Proficiency with drawings, process data, and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Improve safety, quality, throughput, uptime, and material flow.
• Study production constraints and turn observations into measurable improvements.
• Design tooling, fixtures, layouts, and operator workstations.
• Create and maintain clear work instructions and standard processes.
• Support equipment selection, installation, commissioning, and ramp-up.
• Investigate defects, downtime, and missed targets through root-cause analysis.
