Job summary

SARACA in Baton Rouge, LA seeks an Engineering Project Manager (Oil & Gas) for an on-site contract role. You will oversee planning, coordination, and execution of complex projects, ensuring scope, schedule, budget, and safety compliance across the lifecycle.

You will lead cross-functional teams, coordinate with construction management and contractors, manage documentation and risk, and drive continuous improvement in project delivery processes.

Qualifications

• Engineering Management and Project Engineering experience on complex oil and gas projects.
• Strong PM skills: planning, scheduling, budgeting, risk management, and stakeholder coordination.
• Experience in Construction Management and Construction supervision in industrial/energy environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, Chemical, or related field; PMP or advanced degree a plus.
• Solid understanding of oil and gas industry standards, safety regulations, and quality practices.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proficiency with project management tools; scheduling software such as MS Project or Primavera.

Responsibilities

• Oversee planning, coordination, and execution of oil and gas engineering projects to meet scope, schedule, and budget.
• Lead multidisciplinary engineering teams and coordinate with construction management, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Manage project documentation, risk assessments, and progress reporting throughout the lifecycle.
• Supervise project engineering activities and support design reviews, compliance, and safety standards.
• Collaborate with client representatives and provide regular status updates.
• Drive continuous improvement in project delivery processes.
