Job summary

Pilgrim's is seeking an on-site Nurse to be the first point of care for employees, delivering routine and emergency medical attention. You’ll be based at the on-site nurse’s station, perform health assessments, screenings, and manage medical records, with mobility to respond to incidents on the production floor.

The role requires an LPN/LV license, CPR/First Aid/AED certification, and 1+ years of nursing experience; OSHA compliance and confidential record-keeping are essential facets of the job.

Qualifications

• On-site nursing support and patient care in a manufacturing environment.
• CPR/First Aid/AED certification required; urine drug screen and breath alcohol collections may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site medical care within nursing scope and protocols.
• Respond promptly to workplace and general health issues.
• Perform health screenings (drug/alcohol tests, spirometry, and audiometry).
• Maintain accurate health records for OSHA and state compliance.
• Ensure confidentiality in all health matters.
• Support safety and ergonomic initiatives.
• Assist with wellness programs and employee health education.
• Help manage and document workers’ compensation cases.
• Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support the health and safety team.
