Job summary

Pilgrim's is seeking an Occupational Health Specialist (LPN) to serve as the first point of care for employees at our Mount Pleasant, Texas site. You'll deliver routine and emergency medical care, conduct health assessments, and maintain confidential medical records from the on-site nurse’s station, with mobility to respond to incidents on the production floor.

The role requires an active LPN license, CPR/First Aid/AED, and 1+ year of nursing experience.

Qualifications

Current unrestricted state license as LPN.
CPR/First Aid/AED card required; urine drug screen and breath alcohol collections may be added later.
1+ years nursing experience preferred; clinical hours acceptable for graduates.

Responsibilities

Provide on-site medical care within nursing scope and protocols.
Respond promptly to workplace and general health issues.
Perform health screenings (drug/alcohol tests, spirometry, audiometry).
Maintain accurate health records for OSHA and state compliance.
Ensure confidentiality in all health matters.
Support safety and ergonomic initiatives.
Assist with wellness programs and employee health education.
Help manage and document workers’ compensation cases.
Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support the health and safety team.
