Job summary

Pilgrim’s is seeking an Occupational Health Specialist - LPN to serve as the first point of care for employees. You will provide routine and emergency medical attention on-site, conduct health assessments, manage medical records, and respond to incidents on the production floor to maintain a safe workplace.

The role requires an LPN license, CPR/First Aid/AED, and 1+ year of nursing experience, with Pilgrim’s offering potential training to become certified in drug screen and breath alcohol

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted state license as a Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse.
• CPR/First Aid/AED certification required; Pilgrim’s may facilitate training for urine drug screen and breath alcohol collections.
• 1+ years of nursing experience; clinical hours acceptable for graduates.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site medical care within nursing scope and protocols.
• Respond promptly to workplace and general health issues.
• Perform health screenings (drug/alcohol tests, spirometry, audiometry).
• Maintain accurate health records for OSHA and state compliance.
• Ensure confidentiality in all health matters.
• Support safety and ergonomic initiatives.
• Assist with wellness programs and employee health education.
• Help manage and document workers’ compensation cases.
• Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support the health and safety team.
