Job summary

Nexus Family Healing seeks a Nursing Supervisor to lead nursing staff in a trauma-informed residential program for youth in East Bethel, MN. The role ensures safe, high-quality care, oversees medication, and collaborates with psychiatrists, clinical teams, and staff to support positive outcomes for youth and families.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Valid RN license.
• Minimum of 5 years related nursing experience; preferably in a residential setting.
• Nursing supervisory or management experience.
• Valid driver’s license; must meet state requirements.
• First aid/CPR certification.
• Must pass DHS or other background checks.
• Must complete agency-specific therapeutic intervention training (TCI/HWC/NCI).

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, supervision, and clinical oversight to nursing staff in a residential treatment setting.
• Promote high-quality, trauma-informed nursing care and serve as a clinical resource for medical and behavioral health concerns.
• Support implementation of individualized treatment plans and safety plans for youth.
• Oversee medication management, orders, administration, documentation, and regulatory compliance.
• Mentor and develop nursing staff through training and performance management.
• Ensure compliant nursing documentation and medical records quality.
• Support crisis intervention and maintain a safe therapeutic environment.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, families, and partners to ensure continuity of care.
• Monitor compliance with policies, licensing standards, and healthcare regulations.
• Participate in on-call nursing and quality improvement initiatives.
