Job summary

Anovaeon, LLC seeks a Nurse Manager to provide clinical leadership and operational oversight for nursing services at a federally contracted ICE residential facility in Alexandria, LA. You will supervise RNs, manage staffing, ensure high quality care, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

The role emphasizes infection prevention, medication management, staff development, and emergency preparedness, while collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team across departments.

Qualifications

• BSN required; Master's degree preferred in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
• Active, unrestricted RN license in Louisiana or Compact Multi-State.
• Minimum five (5) years of nursing experience; minimum three (3) years in leadership/supervisory roles.
• Experience managing nursing operations and supervising licensed nursing staff.
• Experience with infection prevention, medication administration, and quality improvement.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to obtain and maintain federal background clearances.
• Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision and clinical oversight for RNs and licensed nursing personnel.
• Develop and manage nursing staff schedules for 24/7 operation.
• Conduct performance evaluations, competency assessments, and coaching.
• Assist with recruitment, interviewing, onboarding, and orientation of nursing staff.
• Foster a collaborative, professional, and accountable work environment.
• Serve as clinical resource and mentor to nursing staff; promote evidence-based practice.
• Oversee daily nursing operations for safe, efficient patient care.
• Ensure medication administration and treatments follow orders and standards.
• Coordinate care with medical providers, behavioral health staff, and external partners.
• Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and quality improvement activities.
• Develop and implement nursing policies, procedures, and workflows.
