Job summary

CVP is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to support the VA Long Beach Healthcare System, including PET/CT and SPECT imaging. The role requires two years of Nuclear Medicine experience and active ARRT(N) or NMTCB certification. On-site at VALBHS in Long Beach, CA.

Responsibilities include preparing radiopharmaceuticals, operating imaging systems, and maintaining patient safety per VALBHS protocols. Strong communication and VA system familiarity are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have ARRT NM or NMTCB certification.
• Completion of a NM tech program accredited by JRCNMT or equivalent.
• Two years of Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT experience.

Responsibilities

• Independently operate Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT equipment per national standards and VALBHS policies.
• Perform diagnostic imaging exams including SPECT, PET and CT with radiopharmaceuticals.
• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals under supervision; cannot administer independently.
