Job summary

WECTEC Staffing/Westinghouse in Covert, MI is seeking an on-site Electrical Field Operations Lead for a 6–12 month contract at the Palisades nuclear site. You will lead crews, own logistics, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance while coordinating with project teams.

The role requires field-based electrical experience, nuclear/regulatory environment familiarity, and strong leadership. High school diploma plus journeyman status and OSHA training preferred.

Qualifications

• Field-based electrical experience.
• Prior work inside nuclear or similarly regulated environments.
• Strong crew leadership and real-time issue resolution.
• 5+ years working with electrical systems, safety protocols, and compliance frameworks.
• Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical docs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach electrical crews executing maintenance, installation, and troubleshooting.
• Own logistics and workforce planning while upholding safety and company policy.
• Partner with project teams to align deadlines with regulatory and quality requirements.
• Perform field inspections; verify code adherence and nuclear safety compliance.
• Document all work, inspections, and safety checks with precision.
