Job summary

CFS, located in the Cumberland area of Atlanta, seeks a committed Bookkeeper for a fully on-site role with a nonprofit organization. The position involves maintaining accurate records, keeping QuickBooks up to date across multiple entities, and supporting the Controller with reconciliations and reporting.

You will work closely with a collaborative team, manage daily transactions, and help prepare financial statements while upholding confidentiality and strong organizational standards.

Qualifications

• Proven bookkeeping or general accounting experience.
• Strong QuickBooks experience required.
• Experience with bank reconciliations and financial statement support.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.
• Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure QuickBooks remains up to date in real time.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations across multiple entities and trust accounts.
• Record daily financial transactions and maintain the general ledger.
• Assist with quarterly financial statement preparation and reporting.
• Support the Controller with accounting projects and special assignments.
• Help maintain accurate and organized financial documentation across all entities.
