Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• 4–8 years of professional accounting or nonprofit bookkeeping experience.
• Solid GAAP understanding and double-entry bookkeeping.
• Advanced Excel skills (formulas, VLOOKUP, pivot tables).
• Experience with QuickBooks; QuickBooks Online certification is a strong plus.
• Experience with ADP is a plus.
• Strong communication and ability to maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Maintain chart of accounts and daily bookkeeping for two entities.
• Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Manage general ledger, month-end and year-end close processes.
• Oversee AP/AR, invoicing, collections, and tax filings.
• Onboard employees and contractors, process payroll, provide HR support.
• Ensure GAAP compliance and assist with external audits and 990 preparations.
