Job summary

Commonwealth of VA Careers through the University of Virginia's Department of Neurosurgery seeks a Clinical Research Coordinator 2/3 (Non-Licensed) to support multiple trials in Charlottesville, VA. Required: Bachelor's degree and at least 1 year of clinical research experience; CCRP/CCRC preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required or equivalent combination of experience, education and/or certifications.
• At least one year of clinical research experience for Coordinator 2/3; CCRP/CCRC preferred at hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform all study activities following Good Clinical Practices (GCP).
• Manage multiple clinical trials simultaneously.
• Protect the safety of human subjects.
• Obtain Informed Consent from Human Subjects.
• Enter data into the study database and submit data in required time-frame.
• Monitor patient compliance and maintain study files.
