Peraton seeks a Network Security Firewall Engineer to design, implement, and maintain Cisco ASA/Firepower, ISE, and F5 BIG-IP solutions for the U.S. Army Europe RCC-E in Wiesbaden, Germany. The role emphasizes threat prevention, policy management, and high-availability security architecture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field with 8+ years of experience; OR Associate's degree with 10+ years; OR High School diploma with 12+ years.
• Security certifications such as Security+ or CASP+; CCNP Security, CCSP, GCIA, GCED, GCIH; and one of: Cisco CyberOps, CCNP/CCIE Security, F5 certifications.
• 8+ years designing and administering Cisco ASA/Firepower Firewall and Cisco ISE in large-scale environments.
• Experience with Cisco Firepower management platforms (FMC and FDM); 802.1X, RADIUS, TACACS+, TrustSec, SDA.
• Knowledge of PKI, certificate lifecycle management, AAA integrations.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, implementation, and maintenance of Cisco Firepower infrastructure.
• Implement 802.1X authentication for wired and wireless users with ISE.
• Configure and administer TACACS+ and RADIUS for AAA services.
• Integrate ISE with Active Directory, PKI, and VPN infrastructure.
• Design and implement F5 BIG-IP LTM/GTM/TMOS solutions.
• Prepare documentation: architecture diagrams, SOPs, runbooks.
