Job summary

General Dynamics IT is seeking a Network Firewall Administrator to support the EMITS program in Wiesbaden, Germany. You will implement and maintain firewall configurations, monitor perimeter security, and coordinate changes with cross‑functional teams.

The role requires an active Secret clearance, DoD 8570 IAT II, CCNA Security, and hands-on experience with Cisco ASA/Firepower devices. You’ll contribute to RMF accreditation efforts and ensure secure, reliable network operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Active Secret Security Clearance with SSBI/T5.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification on Day 1; ITIL Foundation within 90 days of hire.
• CCNA Security (required); CCNP Security (preferred).
• Experience supporting firewall/DMZ infrastructure and related network devices.

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage firewall configurations across coalition and mission partner networks.
• Monitor, troubleshoot and maintain firewall/IPS devices; resolve connectivity issues.
• Update RMF artifacts and architecture diagrams; draft outage notifications.
• Interface with end users, systems admins, and engineers for firewall changes.
