Job summary

Paris ISD Technology in Paris, TX is seeking a Computer/Network Support Technician to install, test, and maintain district network hardware and PCs across campuses. You will diagnose network problems, repair hardware and software issues, and ensure reliable connectivity for students and staff.

The role requires 2–5 years in computer repair and networking, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to pass a background check. On-site work with a focus on classroom technology support is expected.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in computer repair and networking.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a background check.
• Knowledge of LAN and WAN network design and installation.
• Ability to work with multiple operating systems and network protocols.

Responsibilities

• Install and test network hardware, software, and upgrades and resolve issues.
• Diagnose and repair network connectivity and hardware issues including IP phones.
• Monitor and analyze system utilization; suggest improvements.
• Assist with installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of network equipment.
• Maintain network design and configuration documentation.
• Assist with organization and distribution of technology for classroom use.
• Work with end users to identify needs and resolve problems.
• Respond to after-hours emergencies as needed.
• Follow district safety protocols and emergency procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
